Sports scandals often dominate headlines because they challenge the values that competitions are supposed to represent. Fairness, transparency, respect for rules, and trust are central to athletic competition, yet major controversies frequently expose weaknesses in how those principles are protected.
From an evaluation standpoint, scandals should not be viewed solely as isolated incidents. They can also serve as indicators of broader integrity challenges within sporting systems. By examining what these events reveal, athletes, fans, and organizations can gain a clearer understanding of how accountability and governance influence modern competition.
The lessons are important.

Why Sports Scandals Deserve Careful Analysis
Public reactions to sports controversies are often emotional, especially when respected athletes, teams, or organizations become involved. However, meaningful evaluation requires moving beyond immediate reactions and examining underlying causes.
Context matters.
A scandal may involve rule violations, ethical failures, governance weaknesses, or systemic oversight problems. Each possibility points to a different issue requiring a different response.
When assessing integrity concerns, the most useful question is not simply what happened but why it happened. Understanding root causes often reveals more about the health of a sporting environment than the incident itself.
This distinction improves analysis.

Evaluating the Impact on Competitive Fairness
One of the primary criteria for assessing any sports scandal is its effect on competitive balance. Fair competition depends on participants operating under the same standards and expectations.
Fairness is foundational.
When misconduct creates advantages unavailable to others, legitimate competitors may lose opportunities despite following the rules. This can affect results, rankings, recognition, and public perception.
The severity of a scandal often increases when the integrity of outcomes becomes questionable. Fans may continue supporting sports through difficult periods, but confidence becomes harder to maintain if competitions appear fundamentally unfair.
From a reviewer’s perspective, competitive impact remains one of the most important evaluation standards.

What Scandals Reveal About Organizational Oversight
Another useful evaluation criterion involves governance and supervision. Scandals rarely occur in complete isolation. In many cases, questions emerge regarding whether warning signs were identified, addressed, or ignored.
Oversight influences outcomes.
Strong institutions typically rely on clear procedures, monitoring systems, reporting mechanisms, and accountability structures. When controversies expose weaknesses in these areas, attention often shifts from individual behavior to organizational responsibility.
This broader perspective is important because effective governance can sometimes prevent problems before they become public scandals.
Systems matter as much as individuals.

Comparing Short-Term and Long-Term Consequences
Not all consequences are immediately visible. Some scandals generate significant media attention but have relatively limited long-term effects. Others continue influencing public trust long after headlines disappear.
Reputation takes time to rebuild.
Short-term consequences may include suspensions, investigations, financial penalties, or public criticism. Long-term effects often involve credibility challenges, declining confidence, and questions about institutional effectiveness.
When comparing scandals, long-term trust erosion frequently deserves greater attention than temporary public reaction because confidence is one of the most valuable assets in sports.
Once damaged, it can be difficult to restore.

How Media Coverage Shapes Public Perception
Media organizations play a major role in how integrity issues are understood. Reporting helps audiences learn about investigations, policy changes, and accountability efforts that might otherwise remain unnoticed.
Coverage shapes narratives.
Sports publications such as marca frequently discuss governance issues, disciplinary actions, and broader integrity concerns that affect major competitions. These discussions can provide valuable context, but they may also encourage simplified interpretations of complex situations.
For this reason, evaluating scandals effectively often requires examining multiple viewpoints rather than relying on a single narrative.
Balanced analysis usually produces better conclusions.

What Fans and Athletes Can Learn From Integrity Failures
While scandals are often viewed negatively, they can provide valuable learning opportunities. Every controversy highlights vulnerabilities that competitors, organizations, and governing bodies may need to address.
Lessons create improvement.
Athletes can gain a better understanding of ethical responsibilities and professional expectations. Fans can become more informed about the systems designed to protect competition. Organizations can identify weaknesses that require stronger safeguards.
Resources discussing sports scandal insights often emphasize that transparency and accountability are most effective when viewed as ongoing commitments rather than reactions to crises.
The goal should be prevention, not merely response.

Final Verdict: Do Scandals Strengthen or Weaken Sports?
At first glance, scandals appear entirely damaging because they expose failures that undermine trust. However, their long-term impact often depends on how institutions respond once problems become visible.
Response determines legacy.
If organizations ignore concerns or apply standards inconsistently, scandals may deepen skepticism and weaken confidence. Conversely, transparent investigations, meaningful reforms, and stronger oversight can transform controversies into catalysts for improvement.
From a reviewer’s perspective, scandals should not be judged solely by the misconduct they reveal but also by the accountability mechanisms they activate. The most effective sporting systems are not necessarily those that avoid every problem but those that identify issues, address them openly, and strengthen integrity as a result. For athletes and fans alike, evaluating both the failure and the response provides the clearest picture of how seriously modern sports value fairness and accountability.

How Brand Competition, Media Rights, and Investment Capital Are Reshaping the Global Sports Industry
The modern sports industry is no longer driven solely by athletic performance. While competition remains the core product, the forces shaping long-term growth increasingly involve brand positioning, media distribution, and investment capital. Together, these factors influence how leagues expand, how teams generate revenue, and how audiences consume sports content.
From an analytical perspective, understanding the sports industry requires looking beyond the field of play. The most significant developments often occur in boardrooms, media negotiations, and investment discussions rather than during competition itself.
As sports organizations continue evolving, the interaction between branding, broadcasting, and capital allocation appears likely to become even more influential.

Why Brand Strength Has Become a Strategic Asset
Sports organizations have traditionally relied on competitive success to attract supporters. Today, however, brand value often extends beyond wins and losses.
Recognition creates leverage.
A strong brand can attract sponsorships, merchandise sales, media attention, and international audiences regardless of short-term performance fluctuations. This helps organizations build more resilient business models compared with those that depend primarily on results.
Analysts frequently observe that successful brands generate economic opportunities that extend well beyond competition. Teams and leagues with recognizable identities often find it easier to enter new markets and develop long-term partnerships.
This does not mean performance becomes irrelevant.
Rather, competitive success and brand development increasingly reinforce one another.

The Expanding Importance of Media Rights
Media rights remain one of the most significant revenue sources in modern sports.
Content drives demand.
Live sports continue to attract audiences in ways that many other forms of entertainment struggle to match. Because of this, broadcasters and digital platforms frequently compete for access to premium sporting content.
The relationship benefits both parties. Sports organizations receive revenue that supports operations and growth, while media companies gain programming capable of attracting viewers and advertisers.
Many discussions surrounding brand and media competition focus on this evolving landscape. As traditional broadcasters compete with digital platforms and emerging technologies, sports properties increasingly possess greater flexibility in how they distribute content.
Distribution is becoming more dynamic.
The value of audience attention remains central.

How Investment Capital Is Changing Ownership Models
Investment capital has become an increasingly visible force within the sports industry.
Capital accelerates growth.
Investors often seek opportunities to improve infrastructure, expand commercial operations, strengthen digital capabilities, and increase organizational value. These investments can help organizations pursue opportunities that might otherwise require years of organic growth.
However, the impact of capital is not always straightforward.
Additional funding may create new opportunities, but it can also increase expectations regarding financial performance and strategic direction. Analysts often note that investment outcomes depend heavily on governance, leadership quality, and execution.
Money creates possibilities.

It does not guarantee success.

Comparing the Influence of Brands, Media, and Capital
Each of these forces contributes differently to organizational growth.
Their roles are interconnected.
Brand strength helps attract audiences and partners. Media rights convert audience demand into revenue. Capital provides resources for expansion and innovation. In many cases, improvements in one area create opportunities in the others.
For example, stronger branding may increase viewership. Higher viewership can improve media negotiations. Increased revenue may attract additional investment.
This cycle helps explain why leading organizations often focus on all three areas simultaneously rather than treating them as separate priorities.
Growth rarely comes from a single source.

The Globalization of Sports Business
One notable trend is the increasing globalization of sports commerce.
Geography matters less.
Digital platforms allow organizations to reach audiences far beyond their traditional markets. Fans can follow competitions, purchase merchandise, and engage with content regardless of location.
This expanded reach increases the importance of branding and media strategy. Organizations that successfully connect with international audiences often gain additional commercial opportunities.
Analysts generally view globalization as one of the most significant long-term developments affecting sports business models. While local support remains important, international engagement is becoming increasingly valuable.
The audience is larger than ever.
Competition for attention is growing as well.

Technology Is Influencing Every Part of the Ecosystem
Technology continues affecting how sports organizations operate, distribute content, and interact with audiences.
Innovation changes expectations.
Advanced analytics, streaming platforms, digital engagement tools, and data-driven marketing strategies all contribute to modern business operations. These developments allow organizations to better understand audience behavior and adapt more quickly to changing conditions.
Technology also influences media negotiations. As consumer preferences evolve, sports organizations must continuously evaluate how content is delivered and monetized.
Adaptation is becoming essential.
Organizations that respond effectively may gain meaningful advantages.

Risk Management and Infrastructure Cannot Be Ignored
As sports businesses become more interconnected, operational resilience becomes increasingly important.
Growth creates complexity.
Organizations must manage digital systems, financial operations, media platforms, and large volumes of information. This requires careful planning and effective governance structures.
Institutions such as cisa emphasize the importance of resilience, infrastructure protection, and risk awareness in highly connected environments. While their focus extends across multiple sectors, the underlying principle is relevant to sports organizations as well.
Reliable systems support sustainable growth.
Without them, expansion can create vulnerabilities.

What the Future Sports Industry May Look Like
Looking ahead, the balance between brand value, media rights, and investment capital will likely continue shaping the industry's direction.
No single factor dominates completely.
Strong brands help attract audiences. Media agreements transform attention into revenue. Capital enables expansion and innovation. Technology amplifies each of these forces while introducing new opportunities and challenges.
Analysts generally suggest that organizations capable of integrating all these elements effectively may be best positioned for long-term success. Those that rely too heavily on one area could face greater uncertainty as market conditions evolve.
The sports industry of the future will still be built around competition. Yet increasingly, the organizations that thrive may be those that understand how branding, media strategy, and investment decisions work together to create sustainable growth far beyond the game itself.

A Criteria-Based Review of Sports Toto Platforms
Evaluating Sports Toto platforms requires more than surface impressions. As a reviewer, I focus on defined criteria: transparency, operational clarity, user safeguards, and alignment with broader industry norms. This approach doesn’t assume every platform is good or bad. It asks whether each one meets reasonable standards—and who it’s actually suitable for.

Criterion One: Transparency of Rules and Operations
The first test is clarity. A Sports Toto platform should explain how bets are placed, settled, and reviewed when disputes arise. Clear rules reduce misunderstandings and set expectations before money is involved.
Platforms that publish plain-language explanations of limits, verification steps, and settlement timing score higher here. When these details are fragmented or vague, the risk of friction increases. Transparency isn’t about volume of information. It’s about usability.

Criterion Two: Trust Signals and Third-Party Context
No platform operates in a vacuum. Trust signals matter, especially when independent oversight isn’t obvious. Listings or references within a Toto Review Directory & Trust Platform can act as a filtering layer, indicating that basic checks have been applied.
That said, directories are not endorsements. They’re starting points. A listing suggests baseline credibility, not guaranteed performance. Reviewers should still examine how current and consistent that oversight appears to be.

Criterion Three: User Experience and Process Consistency
Sports Toto platforms often emphasize simplicity, but simplicity must not hide process gaps. I look at how consistent actions feel—registration, placing selections, and reviewing outcomes.
If similar actions behave differently without explanation, that’s a red flag. Consistency reflects internal control. Platforms that feel predictable are generally easier to trust, especially for new participants.

Criterion Four: Handling of Disputes and Errors
No system is error-free. What matters is how issues are handled. A credible Sports Toto platform explains escalation paths and response timelines. Silence or ambiguity here lowers confidence.
Consumer protection reports across digital services consistently show that clearly defined dispute processes reduce dissatisfaction. In reviews, this criterion often separates acceptable platforms from questionable ones.

Criterion Five: Alignment With Broader Lottery Standards
Context helps evaluation. Comparing Sports Toto platforms with established frameworks, such as those associated with national-lottery systems, provides perspective on operational maturity.
This doesn’t mean Sports Toto platforms should mirror lottery models exactly. It does mean that safeguards, disclosures, and accountability should feel directionally aligned with recognized public standards. When they’re not, reviewers should note the divergence.

Criterion Six: Who Should—and Shouldn’t—Use Sports Toto Platforms
Based on these criteria, Sports Toto platforms may suit users who value structured participation and predefined formats. They’re less suitable for those seeking flexibility without rules or who prefer informal arrangements.
I don’t recommend any platform that obscures terms, minimizes dispute guidance, or relies solely on promotional appeal. Conversely, platforms that communicate limits clearly and show respect for user understanding meet a reasonable baseline.

A Critical Review of Odds, Lines, and Market Mechanics Which Factors Matter Most?
Sports betting markets are often presented as straightforward systems for predicting outcomes, but a closer examination reveals a more complex structure. Odds, betting lines, and market mechanics each serve a distinct purpose, and understanding how they compare can significantly improve decision-making.
From a reviewer’s perspective, the key question is not simply how these components work individually, but which provide the most useful information and which deserve the greatest attention. By evaluating them against criteria such as transparency, predictive value, adaptability, and practical usefulness, it becomes easier to determine where bettors should focus their efforts.

Evaluating Odds: The Most Visible Market Indicator
Odds are usually the first thing bettors notice, and for good reason. They communicate both potential payouts and implied probabilities. Whether displayed in American, decimal, or fractional format, odds act as the market's public-facing prediction.
From a usability standpoint, odds score highly because they are easy to access and continuously updated. They also aggregate large amounts of information into a single number.
However, odds have limitations. They do not explain why a particular price exists. Injuries, public sentiment, statistical trends, and market activity may all influence pricing, but the odds themselves rarely provide that context.
Verdict: Recommended as a starting point, but not as a standalone decision-making tool. Odds are informative, yet incomplete without supporting analysis.

Reviewing Betting Lines: Better for Context Than Headlines
While odds provide pricing information, betting lines often provide structure. Point spreads, handicaps, and totals offer insight into how bookmakers view competitive balance and expected game dynamics.
Compared with moneyline markets, betting lines often reveal more about expected performance levels. A heavily favored team may be expected to win, but the spread indicates how dominant that victory is projected to be.
For analysts who want deeper context, odds and lines together provide significantly more information than either component alone.
The primary drawback is complexity. New bettors frequently misunderstand line movement or assume spreads represent predictions rather than market balancing mechanisms.
Verdict: Strongly recommended for intermediate and advanced users. Lines often provide richer analytical value than raw odds alone.

Assessing Market Mechanics: The Hidden Engine Behind Pricing
Market mechanics receive less attention than odds or lines, yet they influence nearly everything bettors see.
These mechanics include:
•	Price adjustments
•	Risk management strategies
•	Market balancing
•	Liquidity considerations
•	Reactions to new information
Unlike odds or spreads, market mechanics are rarely visible. Instead, they operate behind the scenes.
From a review perspective, this category scores highly for importance but lower for accessibility. Understanding market mechanics helps explain why odds move, why lines shift, and why sportsbooks occasionally disagree with one another.
Many casual bettors ignore this layer entirely, which may limit their understanding of how markets function.
Verdict: Highly valuable for serious analysis, though less practical for complete beginners.

Comparing Predictive Value Across the Three Components
One useful review criterion is predictive value.
Odds often reflect collective expectations and therefore contain significant predictive information. Research across financial and prediction markets has repeatedly shown that market pricing can be surprisingly efficient at incorporating available information.
Lines contribute additional predictive insight because they communicate expectations regarding scoring margins and game flow.
Market mechanics, meanwhile, provide indirect predictive value by revealing how information enters and influences the market.
When comparing all three, betting lines arguably offer the most actionable context, while odds provide the clearest summary of overall market expectations.
Recommendation ranking for predictive usefulness:
1.	Betting lines
2.	Odds
3.	Market mechanics
All three matter, but lines often offer the most detailed perspective.

Which Component Adapts Best to New Information?
Modern sports markets react rapidly to injuries, roster changes, weather developments, and breaking news.
Odds are generally the fastest visible indicator of changing expectations. Within minutes of significant news, pricing adjustments can occur across multiple sportsbooks.
Lines also adapt, although adjustments may be more gradual depending on the market.
Market mechanics serve as the underlying process that enables these reactions.
From a responsiveness standpoint:
•	Odds perform best.
•	Lines perform well.
•	Market mechanics facilitate the process but are not directly observable.
Verdict: Odds receive the highest rating for adaptability because they immediately reflect changing information.

Security Considerations Often Overlooked by Bettors
One area frequently absent from discussions about odds and market mechanics is digital security.
Sports betting increasingly relies on online platforms, account management systems, and electronic transactions. As participation grows, so does exposure to cybersecurity risks.
Users should monitor account security, use strong authentication practices, and periodically review whether personal information has been exposed in data breaches. Resources such as haveibeenpwned can help individuals determine whether credentials associated with online accounts have appeared in known breach datasets.
While security does not directly influence market analysis, it remains an important part of responsible participation in digital betting environments.
Verdict: Essential for account protection, though often underestimated compared with analytical topics.

Final Recommendation: Focus on the Combination, Not a Single Element
After comparing odds, lines, and market mechanics across multiple criteria, a clear conclusion emerges: none of these components should be evaluated in isolation.
Odds excel at summarizing expectations. Lines provide deeper context regarding competitive balance and projected outcomes. Market mechanics explain how those expectations are formed and adjusted over time.
For beginners, the recommended approach is to start with odds and gradually incorporate line analysis. For more experienced users, learning how market mechanics influence pricing can provide additional insight.
Overall recommendation:
•	Odds: Recommended
•	Betting lines: Highly recommended
•	Market mechanics: Recommended for advanced understanding
The strongest analytical approach combines all three. While each has strengths and weaknesses, together they create a more complete picture of how sports betting markets function and how informed decisions can be made within them.

Material
TL;DR: If you are new to 3D-printing and want to know what type of filament you should purchase, buy a roll of 2,85mm PLA in the Makerspace shop, or see the list of sellers here.

The filament used in the printer MUST BE 2,85mm filament. If you try to use 1.75mm filament it can back up and create a plug that affects the print and can damage the printer.

Material that is marked with "OK" can be used if you understand how to use it with the printer and you make sure that the printer is cleaned out and can print PLA after you are done.

Wood-filled material works well with 3D-printing, but it's a bit sensitive to heat and sitting in the nozzle too long can burn the wood which can get stuck in the nozzle. It is very hard to remove once this happens and essentially makes the nozzle unfunctional, so please be cautious.
Maintenance
Follow the recommendations at https://support.makerbot.com/s/article/1667410778200. These recommendations apply when the printers are used an average 1500 hours of use per year or more (we used the machines for about 1800 hours per year). Make sure to keep to the recommended intervals for each point as well.

Only do this when you understand fully what must be done and how to do it. If something is unclear, please ask for help.

Please write in all maintenance performed in the maintenance log

Lubricate the guide rods
Use sewing machine oil (found in the sewing room).

First wipe away all dirt and clutter. Drop one drop of oil onto a sheet and then use this to get the rest of any dirt or old oil off of the rods.

Place the printer head in the middle of the printer (when seen from above) using your hand to move it. Drop a small drop on every side near the the printer head. Then move the printer head a few times along the X and Y rods so that each rod is fully oiled. The place the printer head in the middle again. Then protect the toothed belts from any potential spills, and apply a small drop to each side of the four belt tensioners (the black plastic boxes). Move the print head around the X and Y rods again.

For the Z-axis follow the advice from Ultimaker. Important! Only use a tiny drop of oil and only if that rod is dry. There is no where for excess oil to run off or collect thus excess oil can cause issues.
Check the electrical connections in the printer
The electrical connections have a limited lifespan and take a bit of beating when the printer moves about. The connections should not be looseDessa kontakter har en begränsad livslängd och får en del belastning när skrivaren svängs runt. The case should not be loose, and the connectors and its pins must be shiny. There should be no cracks. A bag with spare parts for the connectors is hanging on the wall behind the 3D-printers.

Check that there is no visible damage
Check the cable cover, visible cables, build plate, feeder, belt, etc. Repair or order spare parts and replace the damaged component.

Level the bed
Start the guide with <code>Maintenance -> Buildplate.</code> The printer will expect that the plate is 0,1mm from the nozzle when the guide is complete. Use regular 80gr paper as a shim to check the distance between the nozzle and plate. You should feel that the paper has some resistance but you should still be able to freely move the paper under the nozzle (it should feel like you are scraping the paper slightly).
You can print out your own nametag using the nametag file on one of the 3D-printers. Print out a label via the Memberbooth in the hallway and stick it onto the nametag.

Frequently (as much as you wish)

We use a system where you set a nametag on the printer when you use it.

You can print out your own nametag using the nametag file on one of the 3D-printers. Print out a label via the Memberbooth in the hallway and stick it onto the nametag.
vänster|miniatyr|154x154px|one half of a printable refill spool core
In the webshop and other areas there is the possibility to purchase just the filament (no roll). To use such stock you can print your own spool core. You will need to assemble both halves with some cardboard siding.

Frequently (as much as you wish)
Atomic Method / Cold Pull

Our 3D-printers no longer have a glass bed, but rather a flexible build plate. Take care not to damage the bed by e.g. scraping them with sharp knives.

Print out a label via the Memberbooth in the hallway and stick it onto the nametag.
vänster|miniatyr|154x154px|one half of a printable refill spool core
In the webshop and other areas there is the possibility to purchase just the filament (no roll). To use such stock you can print your own spool core. You will need to assemble both halves with some cardboard siding.

Information for those that wish to host a workshop Stockholm Makerspace.

How do I arrange a course/workshop?
Send info to the board
Contact the board at [mailto:Info@makerspace.se info@makerspace.se] and send details containing the following:

*Subject and type. e.g. is it a practical or theoretical workshop?
*Target group for the course/workshop and target age limit if any
*What participants should prepare. What equipment, if any, should the participants bring?
*One or more dates that fit your course/workshop.
*How many participants you have capacity for.
*The estimated cost of the course/workshop, if any.
*A short blurb about the course/workshop that can be shown on the registration page to advertise it.

What happens next?
The person responsible for workshops will check to make sure there isn't any conflict with other events in the calendar. If none, then they will set up a registration page and will send out a link that you can post in the facebook group or slack. As organizer, you will also receive a separate private link which lets you see the registered participants.

Course fee and budget
The main policy is that courses and workshops should be able to be self-supporting and that all materials and equipment needed for the course/workshop are obtainable from course/workshop fees.

If there is a budget surplus after the course/workshop, and the organization's finances allow for it, you may decide in collaboration with the board where the excess funds should be invested in, so long as it is in line with the organization's general scope of activities. Such courses like the CNC milling course have helped to procure, among other things, cutting tools, a few measuring tools, and a new spindle for the CNC-mill (svenska).

How do I make a purchase?
You purchase all things you need and will later account the costs with the receipts according to the instructions found at bookkeeping of expenses.

If you don't have the possibility to pay for your materials/equipment, contact [mailto:ekonomi@makerspace.se accounting] and we will find a solution for financing the purchases where you will then bookkeep them after purchase. This creates more hassle for the organization so it is preferred that you pay for the materials out of pocket and be compensated later.

What facilities and resources are available?
miniatyr

If preferred, organizers can get access to a conference room with a large conference table and screen for showing e.g. presentations. The room can hold about 10 people depending on how crowded you want to have it. This room is loaned from AWL and is found a few levels above Makerspace.

We recommend for all other cases that you hold your course/workshop in the Makerspace room that is most relevant. You can also use the table in the Big Room as a good meeting place.

Tips for a successful workshop
1 month before

*Book the workshop location, check that it doesn't conflict with anything else in the calendar, and email your booking to [mailto:&#x20;info@makerspace.se info@makerspace.se]
*Registration via SimpleSignup. Ask someone in the board to help set you up via the organization account.
*Advertise your event to all of the Makerspace members via Slack and the Facebook group.

Before
*Materials for presenting
*Materials for workshop attendees
*Prepare supplies
*Come 30 min early to check the workshop room and get set-up

During
*Take attendance, you should have a list of registered people
*Talk clearly, slow down
*Ask often for questions
*Have margin to go over with time

After
*Clean-up after the workshop, reset any rooms, furniture, and tools for the next makers
*Let the board know about any issues that came up, or other questions we can help with

Bonus
*Update the wiki with useful knowledge from your workshop!

Checklist
Before a workshop, see that all of the following is completed in order:

#Make sure all of the course/workshop organizers you require are present
#Make sure the facilities that will be used are booked in the calendar
#Make sure any equipment is booked for use if there is a separate registration system for them.
#Make sure all registrations go through the organization's SimpleSignup account links and that the calendar shows the right link.
#Make sure you have shared the link to the registration page on SimpleSignup on the Facebook Group with the hashtag #workshop. The hashtag will ensure that the event is posted automatically to Slack in the #events channel.

FAQ
Do I get paid as a workshop organizer?
No, we run workshops on an voluntary basis only. However, if there is a budget surplus from your workshop, you may help the board decide how to invest the excess funds.
General
We share the space with AWL, A Working Lab (svenska), which is owned by Akademiska Hus and provides co-working spaces to universities in Sweden. Other than sharing the building we are not associated with them.

There are two alarms you may hear in the building, though only the fire alarm applies to Stockholm Makerspace and its members. Visit the page Building Alarms (svenska) for more information.

So we can continue to enjoy Stockholm Makerspace, we must all contribute to keeping it organized and clean - See the page Chores and Routines (svenska) to learn how to contribute.

Infrastructure provided and drawings are available further down in their respective sections.

Accessibility accommodations
The electronics workshop and textiles workshop are on the ground floor. Since the rooms have a raised step, there is a fixed ramp to use so you can come in.

The other workshops are in the cellar. There is an elevator available, however it is not accessible from the ground floor. To access the elevator to the cellar, contact a member of the board so a solution for access can be provided.
