Resin

Only use resin bought by Stockholm Makerspace — mixing resins causes problems. The price includes gloves, IPA and printer spare parts (FEP film, LCD, service parts), so you pay even if you bring your own.

Gather your usage into 20–30 ml before paying, to reduce card fees.

Booking

Book at boka.se/sla so others know it's busy. If someone's print is still in the printer, please wash and cure it for them.

Handling

  • Resin only inside the vat and wash tanks — nowhere else.

  • Gloves when working in the cabinet; always gloves for uncured prints.

  • Wipe used surfaces with IPA (not the FEP film or the lids).

  • Full procedure: Resin Printing guide.

PrusaSlicer setup

Import the makerspace config bundle: File → Import → Import Config Bundle.

Maintenance

  • Don't tilt or turn the printer — leaked resin can spread inside.

  • Wear gloves — many parts, even internal, have resin on them.

  • Power plug: flat side towards the power switch. It can be inserted wrong and break things.

  • 2025: power connector problems. 2024: tilt motor and touch display replaced; cleaned out after a resin overflow.
