Redsail laser — Control system
The Redsail laser has two control systems:
Laser controller (Ruida): came with the machine; drives the stepper motors and the laser tube. Its external I/O isn't used (poorly documented).
PLC (added locally): Schneider Electric SR3B261BD with expansion module SR3XT43BD. Handles ventilation, alarms, the machine lock and safety interlocks. Programmed in Zelio Soft 2: program PDF (original project files can't be uploaded).
