Engraving glass and metal through a vinyl mask |
Also in the room: an air cleaner with a timer, and the vacuum extractor for the blast cabinet.
Room rules
Keep the door to the chemical storage closed while blasting.
Wear a dust mask and hearing protection.
Vacuum the floor after use.
Turn off the air cleaner, or leave it on its timer, when you leave.
Leave the cabinet filled with aluminium oxide only.
The blast cabinet uses a lot of air from the compressed air system. Long sessions can overheat the compressor, so take breaks.
