Making the design
Button template (SVG)
Use the template (above) in e.g. Inkscape:
The template has 3 layers. Put your design in the bottom layer.
Everything that should be visible goes inside the grey frame.
Extend the background beyond the dashed circle — it shows on the edge of the button.
Hide the grey frame layer.
Copy design + dashed circle as many times as needed.
Print.
Cut along the dashed line — use the circle cutter in the button maker's box.
Make the buttons as shown in the video.
Spacer ring
The machine is made for 4.9 mm deep backs; ours are ~1.7 mm. A 3.2 mm 3D-printed spacer ring in step 2 lifts them to the right height. Don't remove it. Lost or broken? Print a new one: spacer ring STL
