External IT environment
Review needed: this page describes an older IT setup. The domain table has expiry dates from 2020, and the email section was marked as needing correction. Check the details before using them as current operating instructions.
Earlier documentation of how the external IT environment is set up. See Tidigare extern IT-miljö for how things have changed over the years.

General
Cloudflare is used as DNS for all domains. This makes management easier regardless of registrar, and the services are free, good and very capable.
A few domains and subdomains use Cloudflare's reverse proxy, but most point directly, because there is no documentation of which services handle the X-Forwarded-By header.
wiki.makerspace.se has a GeoIP-based firewall rule against bots and spam; otherwise visitors get a CAPTCHA.
Email and services
Most email services and shared documents are at Google, except member information, because of GDPR. Mailgun and Mailchimp are also used for mass mailings.
makerspace.se is a Google G Suite account, sponsored by Google's non-profit programme.
info@makerspace.se is a shared board account.
admin@makerspace.se is the administrator account for Google Apps.
jim.nelin@makerspace.se is an alias for admin@makerspace.se, because of earlier personal board accounts and some external services that have not yet been moved.
abuse@ and postmaster@ go to admin@makerspace.se.
The above needs correcting — Johan K has changed some of it.
