Line heater for plastic bending — "Bengt"
The heating wire carries 230 V when on. Keep away from it.
Heats a narrow line across acrylic sheet up to about 1 m wide (or other thermoplastics) so it can be bent.

How to use
Don't run it too hot. About 50 % power goes a long way; higher power easily burns the plastic.
Acrylic thicker than 3 mm needs turning over at least once to heat right through.
When done, let it cool for a few minutes before putting it away. The heating wire is fragile while hot.
