Machine access project
Design proposals for machine access systems. This is something that gets suggested regularly, but generally the realisation usually is that it is very complex with all the different ways that machines work to do it safely and without introducing major hassle, especially if one doesn’t want to modify every machine in some way.
These documents describe successive proposals. Neither of them got anywhere past the idea stage.
