A member reported and labelled asbestos washers inside a Singer foot controller. Follow-up discussion identified it with the roller-feed leather machine. Still to verify: identify the controller currently fitted and record whether the reported unit was replaced or assessed. No replacement or professional assessment was confirmed in the reviewed discussion.
