Maintenance and repairs log — VEVOR MR-13D
Dated faults, inspections, adjustments and repairs for the Drill-bit sharpener — VEVOR MR-13D. Keep current operating instructions in the machine guide; add evidence and outcomes here.
Shared point-angle setting: 118° — do not adjust during ordinary use. The supplied photograph documents that instruction. It does not establish measured calibration, the installed wheel type or a completed condition inspection.
Current checks to resolve
See Metal — Open questions for the installed rating plate/revision, wheel identification, collet inventory, top-fixture mapping, calibration and access arrangements. Update the guide when these are verified.
History
Date | Record | Result / source |
|---|---|---|
14 October 2026 | Documentation baseline: member identified the machine as VEVOR MR-13D and supplied its photograph. Visible labels are station 1, station 2 / GRIND POINT ANGLE, “should be 118°” and “dont adjust!”. | Original photograph. No repair, wheel replacement or calibration test is established by this image. |
14 October 2026 | Exact MR-13D multilingual manual recovered from VEVOR and attached to the guide. | Official manual, 135 pages. EU reference is 220–240 V / 50 Hz / 120 W / 4600 rpm; standard wheel CBN for HSS. Installed ratings/wheel remain to be checked. Housing/storage drawing differs from the local photograph. |
No confirmed MR-13D-specific fault or repair was identified in the public Metal-channel review used to create this page.
Adding an entry
Record the date, reporter, symptoms, drill diameter/material, fixture used and photographs or Slack link. State what was checked or changed, by whom, and the actual result. Distinguish a proposed fix from completed work and record whether the machine remains out of use.
For a wheel change, identify the old and new part, abrasive type, dimensions, speed rating and intended drill material. For alignment/geometry work, record the settings and measured trial result; do not write “calibrated” from the position of a label or scale alone.
Maintenance practice
Stop, isolate the power by unplugging, and wait for standstill and cooling before opening the enclosure or servicing.
Use the model-specific wheel procedure and correct parts. Do not treat an unidentified grinding stone as a compatible replacement.
Keep holder seats, collets, indexing pins and alignment fixtures clean. Remove cooled debris with a brush or suitable filtered vacuum.
Have a competent maintainer check a damaged wheel, abnormal vibration, faulty switch/cable, loose enclosure or unreliable holder.
Leave point-angle, relief-block and splitting-pin changes to a maintainer. Record any deliberate change to the shared setup and update its labels and guide.
