Redsail laser — Rotary module
When finished, turn the rotary OFF in both places — the switch on the machine and Rotary Setup in LightBurn. Otherwise the next user gets wrong Y dimensions.

Good to know
Heavy — handle with care.
Chuck on the left, as in the photo — otherwise the result is mirrored.
The jaws easily get out of position if opened far (see Centring below).
The laser still thinks Y is 900 mm long, and one turn = 240 mm of "Y". So the rotary can turn just over 3 turns before hitting the controller's limit. Check the Y position on the control panel; if the laser thinks the object is out of bounds, rotate one turn with the arrow keys.
Setup
Lower the table about 15 cm (more for large objects).
Place the module across the support rails (parallel to X), chuck on the left.
Plug it into the socket on the right side of the machine.
Turn on the rotary switch on the outside of the machine — it lights up when active.
Centre the head over the object in Y.

Tools → Rotary Setup.
Enable Rotary, steps per rotation 32019, and enter the object's diameter or circumference.
Design as usual. Keep the Y size within one circumference — or up to 3× the circumference for e.g. a seamless spiral.
Turn Rotary Setup off when done.

If the object isn't centred, the jaws may be in the wrong order.
Close the jaws fully — they should meet in the centre. If so, it's fine.
Otherwise, open them all the way until each jaw comes out.
Jaws and slots are numbered. Refit them in order 1, 2, 3.
