Blast cabinet — SBC 420

Abrasive blasting with aluminium oxide

Sandblast engraving — guide

Engraving glass and metal through a vinyl mask

Also in the room: an air cleaner with a timer, and the vacuum extractor for the blast cabinet.

Room rules

  • Keep the door to the chemical storage closed while blasting.

  • Wear a dust mask and hearing protection.

  • Vacuum the floor after use.

  • Turn off the air cleaner, or leave it on its timer, when you leave.

  • Leave the cabinet filled with aluminium oxide only.

The blast cabinet uses a lot of air from the compressed air system. Long sessions can overheat the compressor, so take breaks.
