How to use

  1. Switch on, insert an SD card at the back.

  2. Press OK (the default "No" means you don't want to read the card from a computer).

  3. For negatives: fit the adapter in the holder.

  4. Slide the holder in from the right (follow the arrows).

  5. Insert an image from the right, landscape, bottom edge towards you. Push the next one in to move the first fully into place. If it goes too far, nudge it back from the left with a folded piece of card.

  6. When there are no black edges, press OK / scan. Wait ~5 s while it saves.

  7. Remove the SD card when done — no need to switch off.

Tips

  • Fast once you get going — about 100 images in 10 minutes.

  • Evenly lit images come out well; high-contrast images lose detail in highlights and shadows.

  • White balance can drift towards blue or red.
