The silver smithing room was constructed during the summer of 2025 as part of the remodelling of the whole metal workshop. | |||
The walls were built using metal beams and "fiber plaster board", which is heavier and thicker than normal plaster board. This was to improve the sound insulation, together with rock wool in the walls. The heavier plaster board was much harder to work with, however, and the construction took much longer than expected. A window was also installed to make the room feel less claustrophobic, and connect jewelry people with other members in the room. The door for the old textile workshop was reused for this room. | |||
