The Makerspace board can add things to the webshop if they currently are missing. There are no guarantees that the materials are in stock, so please make sure they are before purchasing so we can avoid the hassle of processing refunds.

Materials for sale

In the storage room

MDF, plywood. Farthest to the right there is a stamp rubber and engraving plastic in a box. Below this box there is also a box containing acrylic sheets of 20 mm thickness.

Milling and lathe tools for sale

Plywood

Glued poplar plywood of thicknesses 4, 6, and 9 mm can usually be found, but can also run out in a particular size before more is ordered. The dimensions are around 1200x820 mm. The current assortment (without stock count) is available at https://medlem.makerspace.se/shop/

(The dimensions are based on the fact we order the plywood in large sheets that are beyond the 1400 mm limit of our laser cutter. Therefore we have the provider cut the sheets in half a few times to meet the size limitation)

MDF

MDF that can be used with the laser cutter available of the thicknesses 3, 4, 6, och 8 mm can usually be found in stock, but can also run out in a particular size before more is ordered. The dimensions are around 1220x810 mm. , The current assortment (without stock count) is available at https://medlem.makerspace.se/shop/

(The dimensions are based on the fact we order the plywood in large sheets that are beyond the 1400 mm limit of our laser cutter. Therefore we have the provider cut the sheets in thirds to meet the size limitation)

Acrylic

Transparent acrylic of thicknesses 3, 4, och 6mm. We have also purchased some offcuts (smaller leftover pieces from main cutting), usually around 3-4mm thick, and in many different colors.

Stamp rubber

Milling tools

Cutting inserts, wiper inserts, end mills, ball nose end mills, and engraving tools can be found in limited supply. These can be found in boxes on the left and right ends of the shelves containing MDF and plywood. https://medlem.makerspace.se/shop

Transparencies (for overhead projectors), and paper in A4/A3 sizes.

Electronics room

Most of the smaller components (e.g. resistors, LEDs, and capacitors) in the electronic room are free to take for member projects. If you use a lot of these components it is encouraged to donate some money that would make up for the value so these can be replenished and donations are always appreciated.
