Generell information

Skrivare för papper. Normalt sett laddad med papper på rulle 90 eller 180 g/m2. Kan användas från särskild dator i lokalen som har programvara och inställningar klara.

Color Profile

To get the best color output from the printer you should use a color profile.

To install the calibrated color profile for our printer, follow these steps:

On makerspace computers, the profile may already be installed.
Download the profile from here: icc color profile.
Open the folder with the profile, right click on it and select "Install Profile".
Restart the program you were using for design (e.g. Illustrator, Inkscape, etc.)

As usual you need to print your file using the HP Instant Printing software. It doesn't care about color profiles, so we need to convert our file to the correct color profile separately. In Adobe Illustrator, this is how you do it:

Open your file in Adobe Illustrator
Click, "Save a Copy" and select the PDF format.
Go to the Output tab.
Select Color Conversion: Convert To Destination, and Destination: HP DesignJet800 Poster Paper Best Quality.
Save the PDF.
Open the PDF in in HP Instant Printing and print from there.
