These are the general safety rules related to machines with moving or rotating parts.

Clothing

  • No loose clothing of any kind such as ties, scarves, loose sleves, skirts
  • No jewellery
  • Contain and pull back long hair
  • Contain and pull back long beards
  • Gloves should not be used with most machines. There are some exceptions but they are not many
