Both are aluminium-oxide wheels for steel. Do not grind aluminium, brass, wood or plastic — soft materials clog the wheel.
Safety
Eye/face protection and hearing protection.
No gloves. Tie back hair, remove jewellery, secure loose clothing.
Tool rest max 3 mm from the wheel — adjust only with the machine stopped.
Grind on the face of the wheel, never the side.
Don't hand-hold parts too small to control. The work gets hot.
How to use
With power off: check wheels for cracks/damage, guards in place, tool rests set.
Clear flammable material from the spark path.
Turn the front switch to 1, stand to the side and let the wheels reach full speed. Stop if there is vibration or abnormal noise.
Rest the work on the tool rest, use light pressure and move across the wheel face.
Switch to 0, wait for the wheels to stop completely (never stop them by hand), and clean up.
The motor is rated S2 – 30 min: max 30 minutes of continuous heavy grinding, then let it cool.
Maintenance
Disconnect power before cleaning, adjustment or wheel changes.
Dressing and wheel changes should be done by someone experienced.
Replacement wheels: match bore, flanges, size and guards, and the wheel must be rated for at least 3,000 rpm. Never force a wheel on or enlarge the bore.
The plate says 220/380 V, but don't rewire it — electrical work is for an electrician.
