Materials
Yes: paper, thin card. Capacity depends on thickness — start with one sheet.
No: circuit board, metal, hard or abrasive sheet. Remove staples and clips.
How to use
Stable, clear table. Check feet, handle, pivot and guard.
Raise the handle under control. Set the paper guide and paper holder.
Align the paper with your measured cut line — hands clear of the blade and the gap under it.
Test cut one sheet. Lower smoothly; don't force a stack.
Check size and squareness before repeating.
Leave the arm down, clear scraps, return it. Carry it by the base.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Action |
|---|---|
Paper folds, tears or isn't fully cut | One sheet; check alignment. Still bad → report. |
Stack shifts or cuts out of square | Check the guide and paper holder. |
Arm drops, blade binds, guard loose | Stop and report. |
Maintenance
Wipe the table, keep it dry. Blade, pivot and guard repairs: maintainers.
