* '''OBS:''' Väldigt mycket av det som, i dagsläget, kastas som hushållssopor är sådant som egentligen ska källsorteras. Ju mer vi källsorterar desto mindre hushållssopor producerar vi. Producerar vi små mängder hushållssopor ingår sophantering i lokalkontraktet. Producerar vi större mängder hushållsssopor måste vi köpa in egen sophantering och det innebär således en kostnad för föreningen.

* Töm de soptunnor som börjar bli fulla. Den sophantering som ingår i lokalen är väldigt begränsad. Det är därför bra om du har möjlighet att ta med en påse och kasta hemma någon gång ibland. Annars kastas de i soprummet, mitt emot kallförrådet.

==Weekly Routines==
We have a paid cleaner who comes once a week (on Wednesdays) to wipe tables and floors. In order for them to be able to do that, we need to tidy up so they can reach everything. Make sure to leave surfaces clear and tidy up after yourself!

==💦 Topping Up the Drain Traps==
There are a number of floor drains in the space, as the premises were previously used as a chemistry lab. These must be topped up with water regularly to prevent foul-smelling gases from rising out of the drains. This should ideally be done once every two months. The floor drains should be filled with a full bucket of water. Take care not to damage anything sitting on the floor near the drains.

Övriga grejer (elektornik, trä, metallskrot, etc) får vi försöka tömma vid behov. Lämpligtvis med någon som har bil och kan frakta bort det till en återvinnigsstation.
List of floor drains:
*Storage room, under the shelving
*Wet room, under the sink
*Wood room (2 units) – Plugged
*Textile room – Plugged
*3D printer room, under a hatch in the floor – Plugged
*Large room – Plugged

Every Member's Responsibility

Cleaning is a very important part of every member's responsibility! Everyone must clean, and should aim to leave the space a little tidier than they found it. 🧼 Always make sure to set aside a little extra time for cleaning at the end of your visit!

Tidying and Throwing Away

  • 🧹 Sweep clean any work surfaces you have used. There are small brushes at most workstations in the space.
  • Workstations where fabric and similarly sensitive materials are used should also be wiped down with a damp cloth.
  • Rubbish must be placed in the appropriate bins.
  • Deposit cans/bottles must be thoroughly rinsed out in the sink and then placed in the blue deposit box by the kitchenette in the large room.
  • To prevent fruit flies, avoid leaving wet waste behind — such as food scraps — when you leave. If a bin bag contains waste that is too wet, tie it up and put a new bag in the bin.
  • ☕ Mugs, glasses and crockery from the THINGS kitchen must always be returned to their kitchen after use, and washed — either by hand or in their dishwasher.

♻ Emptying the Bins

Pick up/return the bin room key from the cleaning cupboard.
Hold the bin room key fob to the reader to enter the bin room.
  • Dispose of combustible waste in the bins distributed around the space.
  • When a large bin bag is full, throw it in the bin room behind the THINGS building (see Waste Management for more info).
