Rules for the premises of Stockholm Makerspace

You are solely responsible for everything you do on the premises.

I pledge to...

  1. keep myself up to date about:
    1. general rules.
    2. rules for storage.
    3. rules for specific rooms that I will be in.
    4. rules for the machines and tools I will use.
  2. only visit the space when I have an active makerspace access membership. If my makerspace access membership is not active, I don’t have access to the space, except during events like courses, work days, open house, and similar.
  3. not engage in commercial activities on the premises.
  4. take responsibility for my own actions and to be considerate towards others.
  5. store my projects correctly according to current rules. Left-behind materials belong to the association.
  6. always try to leave surfaces/machines/tools in better condition than I found them, and to plan my visit to ensure I have time to clean afterwards.
  7. not remove equipment from the space.
  8. report equipment damage to the board, or on Slack.
  9. ask other members, or the board, if I am unsure about something.
  10. always ask before I take photos of someone or something at the space.
  11. not do anything illegal at the space.
  12. not consume alcohol/drugs in the premises and to not use the association's machinery while under the influence.
  13. not sleep at the space.
  14. take full responsibility for what my guests do at the space. Guests may not work on their own projects during their visit.
  15. not use other areas of the building than those that belong to the space. For example AWL's kitchen on the entry floor, if the board has not said otherwise.

I understand that...

  1. to handle membership and access to the space, Stockholm Makerspace needs to handle personal information.
  2. if I violate any of the rules above or in any other way misuse my access to the premises, I may be banned from the premises without refund of the paid fee.
  3. I may be liable for compensation if I act negligently.
  4. the space has camera surveillance.

I will do my best to ensure that the Stockholm Makerspace is a clean, safe and welcoming place.
