Maintenance and repairs log — Cocraft HS85-D

Repair and maintenance history for the Cocraft HS85-D. Routine checks, cleaning and operating instructions are on the machine page.

Dated reports describe what was known at the time. A reported repair does not establish the present condition of every accessory. Outstanding checks are collected in Woodshop open questions.

26–27 September 2024 — Replacement blade sources

A member could not find a suitable blade. The previous owner identified 133 mm blades and supplied these product leads, now retained on the machine page:

Status: size/source guidance, not confirmation of restocking or a blade replacement. A subsequent “130 mm would probably fit” suggestion was not tested. The official article 30-9686 manual specifies 133 mm; confirm end fittings, installed holders and appropriate blade specification. Full discussion.

1 July 2024 — Scroll saw placed beside the mitre saw

The room announcement distinguished the scroll saw for very tight curves from the two bandsaws and placed it on the bench beside the mitre saw. Status: local position/capability report at that date; current location and condition need normal checks. The attached pictures in that announcement show the bandsaws, not the scroll saw, so they are not used as machine photos here. Announcement.

2024 — Acquisition

The earlier local page records purchase by Makerspace in 2024 and former ownership by Hannes Lilliefeldt. No exact acquisition date was supplied. This is a local provenance record, not a new purchase or warranty statement. Earlier local record.

Adding a maintenance entry

Record the date, symptom, work performed, parts used and result. Include useful photos and a source or contact for follow-up. Distinguish completed repairs from proposed work and confirm the result with an appropriate test.
