15 February 2026 — MaKoen circle jig added

The MaKoen circle jig was delivered and placed on its wall holder, with its mounting screws kept in a small bag beside it. Use the OF 1010 EBQ mounting pattern and check the correct screw fit before use. The Jigs for woodworking page contains the shared jig instructions.

14–15 December 2025 — Stuck cutters and spindle-lock reassembly

A stuck cutter and a dismantled spindle lock were reported on the handheld Festool router. On 15 December the cutter was removed and the spindle lock was reassembled. A second stuck cutter was reported later that day; the outcome of that second incident was not recorded.

Use the normal two-stage collet-nut release described on the machine page. If the cutter will not release normally, stop and ask for help rather than dismantling the spindle lock.

19 August 2025 — 30 mm copying ring identified

The shared Festool copying ring was identified as 486033, with a 30 mm outside diameter. Match the ring to the cutter, template and router mounting before use.
