Jigs for woodworking

The machine's own course and rules apply. Get instruction on the jig before using it. Old table saw jigs were made for the previous saw and may not fit the Hammer K3.

Shared jigs for woodworking. Inspect before use, keep hardware together and return them to their place.

MaKoen circle jig

  • Unplug the router. Mount using the OF 1010 EBQ hole pattern, manual p. 18. Keep the removed sole-plate screws in the bag and refit them afterwards.

  • The scale reads cutter centre to pivot centre:

    • Opening: radius − cutter radius

    • Disc: radius + cutter radius

  • Clamp the work and pivot, both hands on the router, feed against the rotation, shallow passes. Keep the cutter clear of clamps and bench.

Dovetail jig

  • For a handheld router. Use a dovetail cutter with a ½" (12.7 mm) guide bearing and 6 mm shank.

  • The 30 mm copying ring is not a substitute for the bearing.

  • Clamp the jig to a bench and test on scrap. The English and Swedish manuals give different thickness specs — check the setup.

Planer thin-strip carrier

Doesn't override the planer's minimum stock size, feed or safety rules. Get the setup checked before running thin veneer.

Old table saw jigs

Made for the previous table saw. The two-slot crosscut sled doesn't fit the Hammer without adaptation. Before using any of these, have the fit, guard and riving-knife clearance checked. Never remove the riving knife or use a dado stack.

Jig

Purpose

Crosscut sled

Slides in the table slots; holds work against a fence for square cuts

Mitre sled attachment

Angled cuts

Thin-strip jig

Repeated thin rips without resetting the fence

Spline jig

Cuts slots across mitre corners for splines; sits on a sled with a cradle and adjustable fence

Box joint jig

Finger joints; 6 × 6 mm indexing key

For blade height, length stops and crosscutting rules, follow the table saw page.

Care

Clean after use without damaging reference faces. Report cracks, loose fasteners, damaged guides or missing hardware in #trärummet-woodroom. Don't alter shared stops, geometry or mounting holes.
